2015 saw a large increase in high-end free independent (FIT) travelers. These are wealthy travelers that have expendable income and choose to travel on their own, as opposed to group tours.
With the record number of arrivals at Phuket International Airport, handling 12.9 million passengers in 2015, with international numbers rising 8.27 percent to 6.95 million and domestic up 18.6 percent to 5.9 million, our goal is to reach at least 10% through both traditional and social media.
